Meet Nicole, a Cyber Security Architect at Airbus

Meet Nicole

Nicole has a very diverse role. Her key responsabilities involve providing support regarding current information security requirements and customer-specific national standards, as well as drafting relevant information security concepts. Additionally, she is acting as an interface between project management, engineering teams, and clients in this field.

What is your professional journey?

My journey started with my apprenticeship as IT specialist in application development. Over the past six years, I have fully focused on information security within corporate governance, working in various industries such as insurance, consulting and services, and automotive sector.

What do you enjoy the most about your job?

What I enjoy most about my job is the complexity of my field, which involves exciting and futuristic topics. Much like the universe, there are no limits to the subjects I get to explore.

That’s why I truly appreciate the opportunity to work at such a diverse and future-driven company, where my daily work has a real-world impact.

Any advice for somebody who would like to join Airbus?

If you really want something, work hard, show your passion and just be yourself - after all, we are all human, and we all cook with water.
