Meet Elise
Elise works on various projects related to cybersecurity solutions, including the CyberRange gaming module, a feature offering an immersive experience to train teams and simulate real cyber attacks.
What is your career background?
I developed my interest in Computer Sciences after graduating from High School, where I specialised in this field. After that, I enrolled in an engineering school (ESIEA) for five years.
During the last two years there, I specialised in cybersecurity. I had the chance to do various internships and collaborative projects with external companies, which developed my skills in both software development and cyber security. I completed my final-year internship at Airbus Defence and Space Cyber and then I was given the opportunity to join the company as a full-time employee.
What do you enjoy the most about your job?
I love the challenge and the fact that every project is different. There’s always something new and I like to participate in tangible projects that have an impact on everyday life.
On a human level, I really appreciated being welcomed with genuine kindness.
What advice would you give someone who is interested in joining Airbus?
Don’t hesitate to apply, even if you don’t meet all the listed requirements.
Showcase your personal technical projects, highlight your motivation and bring forward any potential ideas that you would like to implement.
